Initiate Programming Mode: Insert your Cadillac SRX vehicle key into the driver’s side door lock cylinder. Turn the key to the unlock position five times within a rapid ten-second period. You should see “REMOTE LEARN PENDING, PLEASE WAIT” displayed on the Driver Information Center (DIC).

First Wait Period: Wait for ten minutes. The DIC will then display “PRESS ENGINE START BUTTON TO LEARN”. Once this message appears, press the ignition button. The DIC will revert to displaying “REMOTE LEARN PENDING, PLEASE WAIT”.

Place Fob in Transmitter Pocket: Locate the transmitter pocket. This is found inside your center console storage area, between the driver and passenger seats.
