It’s crucial to complete this step three times. After the third repetition, all previously programmed transmitters will be erased and will no longer function with your vehicle. This is a necessary part of the process to ensure only the key fobs you are currently programming will work. The DIC display should now show: READY FOR REMOTE # 1.

Prepare the New Transmitter: Locate the transmitter pocket in your 2011 Cadillac SRX. This pocket is situated inside the center console storage area, between the driver and front passenger seats.
